
Martin and Allan got their respective seasons off to good starts after a gruelling week of qualifiers in Preston.
The second year of the event, sponsored by the Saffron Snooker Club and REAL, (Ethan Rees Linwood Memorial Fund), was held at the Saffron Snooker Club on the hottest day of the year so far!
It has been a contrasting season for Allan and Martin, which concluded with the World Championship qualifiers in Sheffield this week.
Martin had a great time in Beijing last week, winning three matches to reach the last sixteen of the China Open.
Due to the success of last years Ethan Linwood Junior Championship and the continued improvement and enthusiasm of all of our players, we are now able to announce the coming of the 2nd year event for 2016!
February has been a busy and exciting month for Martin and Allan!
The annual “Play The Professionals” charity day took place at Saffron Walden Snooker Club on Sunday, 27 September, to raise money for the Ethan Rees Linwood Memorial Fund.
There were mixed fortunes for Martin and Allan, as well as some controversy, at the Paul Hunter Classic in Germany at the end of August.
The Saffron Snooker Junior Academy is proud to be supported by The Snooker Gym and its world renowned head coach, Nic Barrow.
Things are about to get busy for Martin and Allan starting with the first PTC of the season in Latvia at the end of the month.
Five past and present snooker stars will be visiting Saffron Walden on 29th July to partake in a charity golf day in aid of our affiliated charity, the Ethan Rees Linwood Memorial Fund.
