The Centre for the Disabled in Thaxted is bright, warm and comfortable. Members and helpers alike enjoy many laughs during our twice weekly meetings and special events and lots of new friendships have been made over the years.

The Centre is open on Mondays and Thursdays, 9am to 2.30pm, and we arrange several special events and outings throughout the year. Please see our Events Page for further details.

We welcome enquiries from or on behalf of any physically disabled persons who could benefit from attending the Centre.

The Centre works in collaboration with Uttlesford Community Travel to provide assistance with transport to enable members to attend sessions and outings.

Our facilities are also available to hire for meetings of any local non-profit organisation, group or club - please get in touch for more information.
