The Thaxted Festival takes place in the beautiful Essex town of Thaxted, easily accessible from the M11 and Stansted Airport. The town’s main free car park is in Margaret Street, CM6 2QN and there is an additional free car park in Park Street CM6 2ND.

Overflow parking is at the Recreation Ground, Newbiggen Street CM6 2QT (about five minutes’ walk), with limited space at Bolford Street Hall and the United Reformed Church, both CM6 2PY.

All concerts are accessible for disabled people - please book by post or phone to ensure suitable seat allocation (see Booking). A limited amount of reserved disabled parking is available in the churchyard.
