Our demonstrator for the September meeting of the Thaxted Flower Club was Sandra Price.
Thaxted Flower Club had it’s annual Mother’s Day Stall outside Parrishes on Saturday 30th March.
Our Christmas demonstration was by our own Jane Knight and Amanda Waples.
The guest speaker for our October demonstration was Wendy Jessiman.
Thaxted Flower Club have been very busy for the last few weeks perfecting our entry to the Ely Flower Festival.
We will be running our famous Mother’s Day Stall on Saturday 10 March - a perfect opportunity to buy something extra special for your own mother’s special day!
Both Thaxted Flower Club and our venue, Thaxted United Reformed Church, entered trees in the Thaxted Christmas Tree Festival.
Our December meeting featured a wonderfully festive demonstration by David White entitled Let it Snow.
Our November meeting was also our Annual General Meeting.
Our October meeting featured a fantastic demonstration by Linda Kingcott, entitled ‘The Green Man and Friends.’
Shirley Perkins was our Demonstrator in July with her demonstration entitled ‘Wysiwyg (what you see is what you get!)’.
Rekha Naismith was our Demonstrator in July with her demonstration entitled ‘Inspirations of India’.
Thaxted Flower Club member, Amanda Waples, has once again triumphed at Chelsea, winning a Silver Gilt for her latest fabulous creation!
For our March Club Meeting, we were delighted to welcome Kath Doggett to the Thaxted Flower Club.
Thaxted Flower Club will be selling a wide selection of our incredible flower arrangements at the Thaxted Guildhall on Saturday 25th March. Which is rather convenient, it being Mother's Day the day after! So, if you're going to say anything this year, say it with flowers...
Our “Recycle, wind and bind” demonstration and mini workshop that marked the start of our 2017 activities was a resounding success and fun was had by all the members and visitors!

It was a bitterly cold day but the little bit of sunshine and lack of heavy rain meant the folks of Thaxted and the surrounding areas turned out in force for our annual Mothers’ Day Charity Flower Stall!
Jane, Iris, Chris and Amanda, four of the Committee members, demonstrated at the first meeting of 2016 to a full room of members and guests.
An action packed day run by the Flower Club’s Committee members!
