Another accolade for the fabulously talented Amanda!

Thaxted Flower Club member, Amanda Waples, has once again triumphed at the highly prestigious Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show, winning a Silver Gilt for her latest fabulous creation!

With bright colours emerging, lupins making a comeback, pines getting fresh and ‘strokable’ mosses grabbing attention, this year’s designers really upped their game, which makes Amanda’s achievement even more special.

And she was only 2 points off a Gold - a fantastic achievement which puts her amongst the best arrangers in the country!

Amanda worked tirelessly from 9pm Wednesday evening until 6am Thursday morning to stage her entry ready for the judging to take place later in the morning, leaving no petal unturned as to the perfection of her design.

The Flower Club members would like to congratulate Amanda on a job well done and a thoroughly deserved accolade that is testament to all the hard work she puts in, not only in preparation for the Chelsea Flower Show but throughout the year in our Club Nights and Demonstrations.

Well done Amanda!
