Ely Flower Festival

Thaxted Flower Club have been very busy for the last few weeks perfecting our entry to the Ely Flower Festival.

After months of planning and practice set ups we went to Ely Cathedral on Tuesday 19th June to create our entry. After a long day we were pleased with our efforts which were entitled 'The Creation of Man' and reflected a painting on the ceiling of the nave of the Cathedral.

The club organised a coach outing to the festival on Thursday 21st for our members and friends and they were able to view our display as well as well as the rest of the displays from many other flower clubs. It was a magnificent sight and enjoyed by all!
