The club was started about 4 years ago by a group of interested gardeners who felt there was a need for a club where the absolute beginner and the experienced gardener could meet, exchange information and listen to demonstrators who would cover a wide range of subjects.

We now have about 40 regular attendees at the monthly meetings which are usually held in the day centre at 7.30pm.

The members are of all ages and experience and with gardens that range from a window box to an acre so we hopefully have met our original aims.

Entry £2.00 per meeting. Meetings are held at the Day Centre, Margaret Street Car park on the last Monday of each month except bank holidays (no meetings in December and August).

Raffle, talks and demonstrations, plant exchange stall, refreshments and discussion time.

Easy parking and disabled access to the meeting room.

November 30th: Mr Holmes, Antiques In Gardens.

A very big thank you to Thaxted Parish Council who gave the club a grant towards costs so we don't have to raise our fees this coming year to cover the cost of speakers!
