Get ready for some serious rhythm at Thaxted Parish Church on Saturday, 26th November (7pm), as the Saffron Walden County High School Senior Jazz Band bring their toe-tapping repertoire to this atmospheric venue - all for charity! Tickets are already selling fast.

The concert will be raising money for the Essex Air Ambulance and also donating to FCN and Thaxted Church.

The SWCHS Jazz Band is made up of senior pupils of music grade 5 and above, who have earned an enviable reputation both at home and abroad. They recently played with the National Jazz Youth Orchestra at their home venue, Saffron Hall.

Despite having jazz roots, the Band’s energetic play-list includes interpretations of modern classics from artists such as James Brown, Bruno Mars and Meghan Trainor - we guarantee you’ll be dancing in your seat (if not the aisles)!

And, as anyone familiar with the venue will know, Thaxted Church’s incredible acoustics will ensure they sound even more sensational!
