Another month, another great concert in Thaxted Church! The ever-popular Haverhill Silver Band returns to Uttlesford on Saturday, October 28th (7.30pm) to warm the Autumn evening with their rousing programme of traditional and modern music! Buy tickets online >

The Suffolk-based amateur musical group has a heritage that goes back 150 years and is nationally-renowned as a top section brass band.

Having been very much part of the local Haverhill community throughout its history, the Silver Band now performs in concerts and contests across the UK - most recently as finalists in the National Brass Band Championship Finals in Cheltenham.

October’s concert in Thaxted Church promises a wide variety of musical styles from traditional marches to classical and popular music. The programme will be perfectly complimented by the fantastic acoustics of the Parish Church and refreshments will be available throughout the evening.

The October 28th concert will also be helping support the Royal British Legion, who will be running a Poppy sales table ahead of this year’s Remembrance Day and receiving a proportion of the proceeds from ticket and refreshment sales.

Tickets cost just £10 (Adult) and £7 (concessions (Senior & Under-16).
