Is based in the delightful setting of Jubilee Gardens, in the centre of Saffron Walden. With direct access from Waitrose Car Park this is the ideal location to enjoy a coffee with friends after shopping.

The Garden Room is open to anybody over the age of 55 and serves breakfasts from 9am and coffees, freshly baked scones, cakes and snacks from 10am-1.30pm. All at concessionary prices.

Freshly cooked lunches are available at 12 o’clock Mon-Fri, with a different menu every day at only £5.50 for a two course lunch. (please remember to call in or phone 01799 522772 before 11am to order your lunch as all food is freshly prepared on the premises).

We can also cater for vegetarians, diabetics, etc.

You can always be assured of a warm welcome from our friendly team, most of whom are volunteers so please call in and try us!
