Ethan Rees Linwood
Memorial Fund Charity

Following the tragic death of our 11 year old son Ethan Rees Linwood in a car accident near Thaxted in October 2012, our family struggled to find a way forward in life. We then looked at Ethan’s ethos in life and people.

In an “about me” piece of work at school he described himself by saying:

Dislikes: none except brussell sprouts, I am happy: any time/all the time, People you respect: everyone.

He was a confident communicator on all levels old and young, a champion of the underdog, a friend to all and was undoubtedly destined to be one of life’s givers.

We decided to continue Ethan’s beliefs on his behalf to raise the

aspirations of children and young people, enabling them to realise their potential and have their achievements recognised through the Ethan Rees Linwood memorial fund.

We arranged many fantastic fund-raising events throughout 2013 - keep an eye on our website for more great events this year!
