Aged 11 to 18? Need a break from the hum-drum home life of chores and school-work? Then why not join Thaxted Youth Club and give yourself over to a whole new range of activities and experiences?

The perfect place to socialise with your mates, and make loads of new ones, the Youth Club is purpose-built for YOU. We have a new music system, comfortable sofas and Playstations as well as pool, table tennis and table football tables. Then outside there is a sun-soaked (sometimes!) seating area and an awesome skate ramp and basketball court.

We have just started a Non-Contact Boxing Club, providing a high-energy mix of fun and fitness, and we have new music rooms in the mezzanine area and a covered outdoor seating area coming soon.

We also organises activities away from Thaxted including weekends away at Stubbers Outdoor Activity Centre, the Christmas trip to Rollerworld and Quasar, and the annual camp out at the Rec.

And it costs just 50p to come along – the same price as a packet of crisps! Talking of crisps, we also have a small shop selling drinks and snacks.

Thaxted Youth Club is open from 7.30pm to 9pm, Mondays and Wednesdays, and 7.30pm to 10pm on Fridays. We currently have 80 members and welcome anyone who wants to come along, whether you live in Thaxted or not.
