Welcome to the DMC Leisure Saffron Walden & District Snooker League!

As at the 2013/14 Season, there are 14 teams competing for our Three Player title and 8 teams battling it out for our Four Player title. The teams are represented by 10 different clubs comprising of approximately 150 players.

The clubs in the league are spread far and wide and include the Saffron Walden Snooker Club, Whittlesford Social Club, Sawston Social Club, Newport Club, Stansted Social Club, Dunmow Club, Takeley Sports and Social Club, Widdington Village Hall, Bishop’s Stortford Social Club and Bishop’s Stortford Royal British Legion Club.

As well as the league matches, which run from September to April

each season, the Committee organise and run many tournaments which all registered players are eligible to enter.

So, if you are a club and would like to enter a team in the league or are a player and would like to join an existing team, then please e-mail League Secretary Peter Saville for further information.  All league players are handicapped according to their ability to anyone of any standard can compete equally.
