December the 8th - another fantastic opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit while supporting a worthy local cause.

Thaxted's Windmill Pre-School Christmas Bazaar includes a multitude of attractions for adults and kids alike. Entry is just 50p for adults (less than the price of a local paper folks!) and completely free for kids!

Not only does this represent unbeatable value for money entertainment but, with superb tombola and raffle prizes to be won (including a £100 meal voucher and turkey and champagne hampers), you could also go home having turned a handsome profit!

The value for money theme continues with some great opportunities for Mums and Dads to stock up on Christmas gifts from Poppy's Treats, Esther Cooke's Crafts & Gifts, Avon and a superbly indulgent cake stall.

Refreshments are available too - in addition to sumptuously festive mulled wine (complimentary glass included in the entry fee!), there'll be teas and coffees and squash for the kids, plus mince pies and

home-made biscuits. Of course, the Windmill Pre-School Christmas Bazaar is not just for big kids - there will be lots of fun for little ones too!

There will be face painting, loads of great games (including Tin Can Alley and Pin The Tail on the Reindeer), bracelet-making, a second-hand toy stall and a teddy tombola.

And most important of all, Santa's Grotto, where the man himself will be making a special early appearance to get the holiday magic started!

All proceeds from the Christmas Bazaar go towards the running of the Windmill Pre-School, an essential service for local families. So come along and meet the parents and kids of the Windmill, have a stocking-load of fun and help support this fantastic community resource.
