an all day workshop and club evenings will surely fertilise your creativity.

Throughout the year, a number of NAFAS-trained demonstrators share their expertise with themes such as "Catwalk Calling" and "The Magic Of Christmas" being interpreted as flower arrangements.

The ever-popular Workshop Day (see photo) gives the chance for hands-on participation under the experts' watchful eyes and the big annual trip (to Ely Cathedral Flower Festival in 2013) gives the opportunity to rub shoulders with the wider flower enthusiasts community.

It has become a tradition for the club to have a stall under the Guildhall for Mother’s Day in March. It takes 2 to 3 days for the committee members to create the flower arrangements which are then sold to raise money for local good causes.

The Thaxted Flower Club meets at the Thaxted Centre For The Disabled and members and visitors alike are assured a warm welcome.

The next meeting, Handbags & Gladrags with Carole Bonner, is on March 4th.
