Bums On Seats
£1 Teen Tickets At Saffron Screen

As part of Saffron Screen’s objective to encourage more young people to see a wider range of films, the local not-for-profit cinema is offering a new incentive to encourage teenagers to see films that may not be within their usual cinema viewing.

"Bring your teen for a pound" allows an adult to bring a teenager to see selected films at Saffron Screen for the bargain price of (you guessed it) £1!

Two fantastic films have been selected for March. Ideal for music lovers, Muscle Shoals will be screened on Monday 17th March at 8pm.

Great music underlines this documentary about a small town in America which is unique in the number of artists who have created

music and been inspired by its home-grown recording studio.

And for art lovers, or for those studying art at GCSE or ‘A’ Level, there is Kiss the Water on Monday 24th March at 8pm - a beautiful documentary about the unlikely story of a Scottish woman who turned the creation of fishing flies into an art form.

The hand-painted animation which weaves through this film was created by Em Cooper, who will be at the cinema for a Q & A after the film.

Audiences can take advantage of this great offer by buying a joint ticket at either Saffron Walden TIC or at the box office. Please note that this offer is not available online but please visit saffronscreen.com for more up-coming screenings.
