Thaxted Bar Gets Legion Award

Parrishes Restaurant and Wine Bar in Thaxted has just received a special accolade in the form of a Certificate nominating it as a

 

“Companion of the Royal British Legion” in recognition of its unstinting support for Debden Branch RBL over the past three years.

The popular eatery and watering hole has long been at the heart of the Thaxted community with owner and parish councillor Will Brazier front and centre in the organising of many local events and happenings.

Presenting the Certificate, Colonel Roger Burgess OBE, Vice Chairman of Essex County Royal British Legion, raised a glass to the owners Will Brazier and Fay Prescott, along with all the staff, and firmly thanked them for all their efforts.
