Best Business Women Award
For Local Company Director

Saffron Walden businesswoman, Rebecca Oliver, has won the ‘Best Business Women working with Children and Families’ class of the prestigious Best Business Women Awards, a competition which seeks to identify the very best female business talent in the UK.

Becky owns Tiny Tempos, which provides fun and imaginative music and dance classes for under 3s, and Tempos Performing Arts, which allows older children (3-16 years) the chance to learn a wide range of performing arts skills in affordable, friendly classes.

The judges verdict? “A convincing entry with fulsome evidence and great testimonials from her young performers. This is a great business which shows commitment with true passion. It was inspiring to read how this business started and, through her caring attitude and wanting to get this right, she has managed to grow the business year on year.”

Becky is naturally delighted with the news: “I never imagined that our small local business based in Saffron Walden would reach the finals of such a prestigious national awards for 3 consecutive years and WIN! The whole Tempos Team attended the Gala Final and when they announced us as the winners we were all so astounded!”

“It is such a massive achievement for Tempos as small local business which started in 2012 with just 2 classes and now has 35 classes running weekly in 7 venues. We are very proud to be a multi award winning independent small business and we are over the moon to be names Best Business in the 2018 awards!”
