Anglers seized the day at Clavering Lakes to bag plenty of premium aquatic specimens and net a fantastic £1,700 for St Clare Hospice at their recent annual fishing competition. Overall winner was Craig Gibbons, from Sawbridgeworth, whose total catch weighed in at more than 70lb!

Uttlesford Young Driver Initiative

Teenagers have been getting a taste of how to stay safe on the roads thanks to an Uttlesford Community Safety Partnership project. Around 800 students aged 16-17 participated in the annual Motorwise initiative, held at Carver Barracks near Wimbish, which ran for 7 days up to the 22nd September.
