Bank Holiday Jousting
At Hedingham Castle

Don’t miss the last of the Spring re-enactments at Hedingham Castle as the ever-exciting Knights of Royal England perform their chivalrous deeds over the second May Bank Holiday Weekend - May 28th & 29th.

The middle-ages truly come to fast-paced and furious life as these highly-skilled protagonists take part in mounted jousts and challenges, hand-to-hand combat and dark deeds, surrounded by a bustling arena full of craft stalls, a range of food and a host of themed entertainment.

There will be archery demonstrations and participation with the Norfolk Longbowmen and the opportunity to get up close and personal with the exotic birds of prey of Coda Falconry.

The Castle’s official jester, Jonathan de Hadleigh, will be causing his usual medieval mayhem and, with craft stalls, food vendors, donkey rides, musicians and the Castle bar, it’s a full day of excitement and spectacle for the whole family!

If you missed the previous re-enactment events at Hedingham over the last six weeks, you need to get to the Spring Bank Holiday jousting. Tickets cost £14 (adults), £12.50 (concessions), £10 (under-18s) - under 5s get in free. It really is a brilliant day out and the kids will love it!

Take advantage of the Castle’s great-value family ticket, which is £42 and will admit any car-load combination of people, as long as at least one child over 5 is present.

And you get an extra 10% off all tickets when you purchase in advance!
