Dig out your shell suits, puff up your hair, wash down your XR3i and cruise on down to Thaxted Parish Church on 8 September for an evening of all-out 80’s entertainment!

Popular local singer Adrian Weaver returns to his home town with a brand new tribute band - Back to the Eighties Band UK - performing classic hits from the big hair and shoulder pads era.

A proportion of the proceeds go towards supporting HOT - Hands Off Thaxted, a local action group fighting for sustainable development in and around the historic town.

The Back to the Eighties Band UK gig takes place on Saturday, 8 September at Thaxted Parish Church. Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8.30pm start and there will be a licensed bar available.
