A new exhibition that explores the ice age opens soon at Saffron Walden Museum. ‘The Life in the Ice Age’ exhibition, a collaboration between the Travelling Natural History Museum (TNHM) and Saffron Walden Museum, starts on 12 August and continues until 14 January 2018.

Nearly 400 neon walkers from across West Essex and East Herts came together to ‘light up the night’ and dance in the streets in support of St Clare Hospice’s Midnight Walk on Saturday 1 July at The Water Gardens, Harlow. It is hoped over £60,000 will have been raised from the event.

A special service of celebration to mark the joining of five local Churches, under one new Team Ministry, was held at Thaxted Parish Church on Tuesday 13th June. It included special musical performances by children from local village primary schools and the reading of a specially written poem.
